The Benefits of Dragon's Blood

Have you heard of Dragon's Blood before? No, there's no need to frown! Nothing gets killed in GoT style.

Dragon's blood extract is a natural substance used for centuries in traditional Chinese and Indian medicine for its healing properties.

More specifically,it is a resin obtained from the bark of some Amazonian plants, including Daemonorops, Dracaena, Croton, Calamus and Pterocarpus, whose resins all have the characteristic red-brown colour. They are odourless or with a slightly balsamic aroma, have a sweetish taste and are soluble in ethyl alcohol.

The tree from which it derives seems to have come out of a book of magic. This is in fact, found only in the Socotra archipelago, in the Indian Ocean, and its thick and dense frond has a shape that recalls that of an umbrella, which appears majestic is magnificent. Furthermore, its trunk does not have the typical concentric rings used to date a shrub's age. Thus the age of a Dragon's Blood is estimated only by the number of its many branches.

Dragon's Blood Properties

1. Healing properties:

The main feature of Dragon Blood is its extraordinary healing properties. It is, in fact, the most effective plant product for healing wounds and fighting infections.

Clinical studies have found that applying this resin on wounds significantly improves healing, greatly reducing the inflammatory process thanks to its anti-inflammatoryand protective effects.

Thanks to the high concentration of taspine and polyphenols, it facilitates the formation of crusts and contributes to skin regeneration, promoting collagen production. It is ideal for treating wounds, scars, burns, rashes and psoriasisand has anti-ageing effects.

Thanks to its healing properties, Dragon's Blood is also beneficial for relieving gastrointestinal disorders and helps promote the well-being of the digestive system.

Furthermore, it also has antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic, antibiotic, hemostatic, analgesic and astringent properties.

2. Spiritual properties:

The most important magical property of the Dragon's Blood is to amplify. It can be added to other incense to amplify its effectiveness and potency. Furthermore, by adding its resin to a red ink (also called Dragon's Blood), you can write magical seals and talismans.

This magical resin amplifies its ceremonial powers and results in rituals and spells, especially those of love and protection. Burning it not only works as a purifying incense but also allows you to ward off negative energies and influences.

It is no coincidence, therefore, that the element that characterizes the Dragon's Blood is fire and that the main power associated with it is precisely loveexorcism and protection.

Its properties are reflected in almost all the magical rituals worldwide. In South America, it is used to attract good luck and love. In India, as ceremonial incense. In African witchcraft, it is used to increase the strength of a spell, attract money, and purify places and homes, while in the West, it is indicated to protect us during our astral travels.

Are you people who can’t sit in a bus or underground, wait for a train without pulling out your smartphone, scroll through Instagram feeds, or consume one TikTok video after another? If so, we hear you. And we can relate with you. We from The Goddess Collective are Social Media addicts as well. That is why our Co-Founder Irène wants to propose an experiment. Or at least, make a recommendation by trying to set an example, aka going on a digital detox.
