Family Affairs was founded by Nina and her mother, Kaya. Inspired by the amazing frocks, Kaya used to design in the 60ies and 70ies, for example, for the Beatles.

Between NY and Switzerland, they embarked on a fantastic journey of inspiration boards, heated discussions, epic and life-changing production trips to India, some runway shows, many plane rides between NY and Switzerland, an excessive amount of tea and baked goods, Skype calls and many e-mails. Now both actually reside in the same country - Switzerland and get to mull around in our vast fabric swatch case together.

Family Affairs lives for amazing, smart details, colour therapy through face oils, dresses, feminine, fun cuts and original prints - drawn by Nina Egli.
