"It is only a mere month ago that I broke my neck. Yes, you read those words right. Even whilst saying those words out loud, hearing the diagnosis by my doctors, physiotherapists and traumatologists, I still can’t really grasp what happened to me and that I could have died due to this injury. You might want to know, where and how it happened. It took place in my home, at night and I was all by myself. I’ll spare you (and myself) the how as I want to talk about positivity and something that will uplift you during this uncertain time, hopefully.
Well, here you go:
As astrologer Colin Bedell wrote so beautifully, yesterday, we experienced this year’s only new moon in Pisces. Thus, a new moon that "… brings the opportunity to begin again within a space that needs closure. The New Moon in Pisces wants us to reflect critically on what’s risen from the bottom of the oceans of our subconscious into our conscious consideration. Especially in relationship to the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns that prevent us from becoming the people we want to be."
In other words: Be clear on what your dreams are and plant those seeds now.
That is why I made plans for manifesting yesterday at 6:34 p.m. as recommended on our IG by our Social Media Manager Fabio. As I prepared my altar – I even managed to pull some tarot cards – a great sadness washed over me. I couldn’t shake these feelings off, so I decided to call it a night and took myself to bed.
And guess what: This morning I woke up feeling renewed and filled with positive energy. Also thanks to my soul sister Alexandra Kruse who gifted us yesterday at 8 a.m. with an amazing love and peace bomb on IG.
No wonder, source suddenly told me to go back in front of last night’s altar – I put it on top of my cozy Moroccan rug – that was filled with rays of sun and to bathe my naked body in this energizing light to the tunes of Martha Argerich playing Chopin. It only felt natural to start touching myself and grabbing for my vibrator. And, oh my, this arousing moment with myself – first slowly until it felt like a falling star – helped me to forget all negativity regarding what’s happening in the world, my health, finances and so on. You name it. Instead, masturbating in the sunlight in front of my new moon manifesting objects got me in the right mood. And helped me seeing a version of myself and of my most wonderful ideal image of life. That’s what I call true manifesting power. Which is why I want to encourage you, my beloved TGC Family, to give this very special manifesting practice a try. That's all and thank you for being so patient with me."

We from TGC Team became curious about Irène's experience and did some research. Here's what we read in a Q&A with Penda N’diaye, writer and the founder of Pro Hoe on goop.com: "Exploring masturbation and fantasy is a great way to learn to speak from your core about what you want. Be open to those moments at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon when you’re feeling excited. Take those arousing moments as they come. And be gentle with yourself. Not everything has to be bubble baths and candles."
We will give this luscious manifesting practice a try – definitely!
Furthermore, Irène wanted to let you know, that her thoughts are with you and how grateful she is, for every prayer, candle light, Reiki energy or thoughts you are sending her way, whilst she is in recovery and fighting to regain her strength.
THANK YOU, dearest ones!
With love, to you -TGC Team
Hard to believe, but true: Swiss women have only had the right to vote since 1971. To mark the occasion, our co-founder Irène Schäppi published the non-fiction book "50 Years of Women's Suffrage in Switzerland" in November 2020 in collaboration with her friend Dr. Isabel Rohner. In it, she also deals with her role as a woman in a still patriarchal society. The following very personal essay, "Shame on you!" is the result and was published for the first time in the previous anthology.
In this article our co-owner Irène Schäppi opens up about her own issues with self-body shaming, offers you some possible practices to overcome this harmful behavior, and, most importantly, asks for your input.
Many of us know that feeling. We wake up one morning and feel bad, but reaching the boss and calling in sick makes us feel guilty. This article helps you understand where this guilt comes from and how to put it to rest once and for all!
